Harvest Market

Our next South Kaipara Food Revolution HARVEST MARKET is Sunday 25 September  2016, 10am-1pm - rain or shine.

From freshly baked artisan bread, to fine barista coffee and delicious homemade chutneys and sauces. This is a superb event put on by an enthusiastic community of local producers and artisans, for the South Kaipara community.

Live music sets the scene, while you wander, sample and learn about all the wonderful producers growing and making food so close to home.

There'll be water bowls for your dogs, and play areas for the kids.

Our ever-popular Kids' Kitchen Club will be on for three sessions! We're raising so many young Masterchefs in South Kaipara that we've had to expand the children's cooking classes, and will be adding a session at 9am for the early birds. The other two sessions are at 10am and 11:30am. Available for ages 3+, and just $5 per child. Email kitchen@thrivekaipara.org.nz to book.

This month the kids will be freestyling it, creating Bruschetta with toppings

Throughout the market, our Te Whare Oranga manager and volunteers will be on hand to discuss upcoming courses and educational opportunities. If you are unable to get along to the Market but wish to explore educational opportunities at Te Whare Oranga this year, please contact the Manager on 09 420 9983 between 9am-1.30pm, Tuesday–Friday.
