Welcome to Thrive Kaipara, the home of Te Whare Oranga ō Parakai,
a place for the South Kaipara community to gather, meet, work and share.
We aim to be a place of wellbeing for the people of South Kaipara.
Please visit us at 2/11 Parakai Avenue, and in the meantime have a look
around our website to see how we can best serve you.
Click here to sign up to our email database and we'll let you know when courses, events, special offers and more are coming up.
We're extending an invite to all local growers, food producers and craftspeople to book a stall at our Harvest & Artisan Markets in 2017.
We'd also love to hear from performers who can entertain our market-goers.
Contact Market Organiser, Helen Frampton e: firstname.lastname@example.org or 09 420 2628.
Our always popular Kids' Kitchen Classes are held during the market. There are three sessions at 9am, 10am and 11:30am. These classes fill quickly, so secure your child's spot early by emailing Keryn at email@example.com. From ages 3+, $5 each. At our next market on 28 May the kids we'll be making quick sweet microwave cakes with a twist and a sprinkle!
During the market, our Te Whare Oranga manager and volunteers will be on hand to discuss upcoming courses and educational opportunities. If you are unable to get along to the Market but wish to explore educational opportunities at Te Whare Oranga this year, please contact the Manager on 09 420 9983 between 9am-1.30pm, Tuesday–Friday.
Visit our Classes page for more information on these proposed courses. They will go ahead if there are enough students enrolled. So, please read the flyer and if you or someone you know might be interested contact Pip on 027 571 3848.
